Welcome back to Grand Tikal Futura Hotel, we are excited to open our doors again and share new stories together.

Taking care to prevent  the spread of COVID 19 is our commitment and responsibility, we aim to guarantee a safe space for our guests, clients and collaborators. Our main objective is to protect you and our collaborators.

Safety and Hygiene Protocols

At Grand Tikal Futura Hotel, we remain committed for the well-being of our guests and staff. All our protocols comply with the global health and hygiene standards established by the World Travel and Tourism Council – WTTC –  and the Guatemalan Institute of Tourism – INGUAT – backed by the #SafeTravels and #SelloDeBioseguridadTuristica seals. We also attend the recommendations made by the WHO and local authorities such as MSPAS and MINTRAB.

 

 

General Policies

  • Clean and disinfect the soles of the shoes through the footbath prior to entering the Hotel.
  • Temperature will be taken by biometric control of all guests and visitors prior to entering the Hotel.
  • The use of face masks is strictly mandatory when passing through the different common areas.
  • We have installed multiple hand sanitizer stations around the facility for your use.
  • Please respect the physical distancing signs identified on the floor when queuing in indicated areas.
  • We recommend hand washing whenever necessary; after blowing your nose, coughing, scratching, going to the bathroom, handling money or food, touching knobs, doors, or any other equipment.
  • Cover your mouth and nose with tissues or using the inner corner of your elbow when coughing or sneezing.
  • Avoid shaking hands, kissing or hugging, as well as exchanging objects with other people for your own safety.
  • For any questions about safety and hygiene protocols, dial 502 from any phone in the Hotel. Our team of operators will gladly help you.
